Leeds Town Hall

Leeds Town Hall

Tarnished by 150 years of urban grit, the dominating Leeds Town Hall is a recognisable accessory from productions including Peaky Blinders and Dad’s Army. It was once the tallest building in Leeds, built between 1853 and 1858 in the gothic style so popular of the Victorian era. Inside, there’s a suite of ceremonial entertaining rooms as well as offices, a council chamber and law courts. Only the law courts are in use today, but its public hall is often used for music and theatre productions.
